The following is a general description of the benefit plans and programs available to eligible Citadel and Citadel Securities Employer-Paid Benefits
Healthcare Coverage
AXA
All employees and their eligible dependents receive medical, dental, and vision coverage under this comprehensive plan as of the date of hire. This coverage is 100% employer paid.
Life Insurance
Generali
This plan provides a benefit equal to 4x the employee's gross base salary in the event of the employee's death. Employees with dependent spouses/partners and/or dependent children are eligible for higher levels of cover. Additional benefits are paid if the employee dies in an accident. The plan also provides for an educational annuity for the employee's children. This coverage is 100% employer paid.
Short-Term Sickness and Disability
Administered in-house
Citadel will continue to pay an employee their base salary for up to 90 days if the employee is unable to work due to sickness or disability. .
Long-Term Disability
AXA
Citadel's Long-Term Disability plan provides benefits after the period of short-term sickness and disability is exceeded. The long term disability plan provides a benefit of up to 90% of the employee's gross salary for as long as the employee is determined to be disabled. This plan has a 90-day waiting period.
Paid Time Off
All full-time employees receive 25 days paid annual leave each year that are pro-rated based on start date.
Business Travel Insurance
Citadel provides life insurance and AD&D coverage for all employees traveling on business. In addition, the Cigna Global Medical Benefits Abroad plan provides employees emergency medical coverage while traveling on business.

Provides a range of care options for your emotional and mental health how, when, and where you need it at no cost to you. Lyra’s offering includes 10 mental health coaching and / or therapy sessions for you, your family, and dependents.

Citadel promotes an active and healthy lifestyle for all employees by providing a €100 monthly subsidy for employees to purchase health club memberships.

Citadel provides a 50% reimbursement toward the monthly cost of a Navigo commuter pass which can be used for unlimited travel in Paris and the surrounding metropolitan areas using all of the public transport networks.
