The following is a general description of the benefit plans and programs available to eligible Citadel and Citadel Securities employees. This summary is qualified in its entirety by the provisions of the actual plan documents.

 
Employer-Paid Benefits
 
Medical/Dental Plan
Cigna Healthcare PPO
Employees, dependents, and domestic partners are eligible as of their hire date for medical, dental, prescription drug, and vision benefits through the insured Cigna Plan with no pre-existing condition limitations.
 
Retirement Scheme
Fidelity Retirement Master Trust
The Company provides a Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme. Employees join the Scheme after 60 days of employment and are mandated to contribute 5% of their monthly Relevant Income, capped at HK$1,500 per month, to the Scheme. Relevant Income is currently set at HK$30,000 per month under the MPF regulations. The Company will contribute an amount equal to 15% of your monthly basic salary (monthly basic salary is capped at HK$100,000), inclusive of the employer’s mandatory contributions. Employer contributions are back-dated to the employees’ date of hire. Mandatory contributions are fully vested immediately whereas the top-up contributions will become fully vested after 10 years of service.
 
Short-Term Disability
Administered in-house
Your salary will continue during an approved disability leave at either 100% or 60% of basic salary depending on length of service for a maximum of 12 weeks.
 
Total and Permanent Disability Insurance
AXA China
This benefit covers employees in the event of a total and permanent disability which prevents them from ever engaging in or working for any compensation or profit in any business, occupation or employment for which they are reasonably qualified by education, training or experience. The benefit will be paid in a lump sum equal to 48 times basic monthly salary.
 
Business Travel Insurance
Citadel provides life insurance and AD&D coverage for all employees traveling on business. In addition, the Cigna Global Medical Benefits Abroad plan provides employees emergency medical coverage while traveling on business.
 
Basic Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
AXA China
The Company provides coverage equal to 48 times basic monthly salary for basic life and for AD&D. The AD&D is based on a Schedule of Indemnities
 
Paid Time Off
Employees are entitled to 20 vacation days per year in addition to the public holidays in Hong Kong. Vacation days are pro-rated based on hire date. Citadel will observe all the statutory holidays.
